Those were nice pics. Things like these happen every day. Problem is the bad things make the news. It was gratifying to see Aaron Jones in one of those pictures. He played for the UTEP Miners and he has had an outstanding upbringing as I know his dad and he's a fine gentleman. His twin Alvin is also of the same ilk.

I'm proud to call them El Pasoans.

The truth of the matter is that the vast, vast majority of Americans, no matter their color or heritage, interact with one another daily and are polite and nice to one another. Just people interacting with one another.

Unfortunately, the media (and many politicians) are more interested in selling division for increased clicks/views/votes. Consequently, perusing the various media outlets, an image of America is portrayed as a populous at each other's throats.

It's not an accurate picture............fake news all day everyday.
