*Interesting side Note: At least two CAA teams (UR, JMU) will be using the Rugby-style punter this season, and both will be ambi-"footed", I guess. They can punt with either leg.

Cox will air all of our home games.

That seems pretty good. Obviously you want to see the CAA do more for TV deals vs teams finding their own thing, but there isn't really a huge nationwide market for FCS football

Doesn't do much for satellite viewers though.

Campbell announced that our series starting with an away game with them next season has been changed and will start with a game in Williamsburg in 2022 and away game in 2023.

With all the anti logo talk, I thought the football uniforms looked pretty awesome. The logo fits well on the helmet. I love the numbers in the Tribe font. New and fresh, yet classic at the same time. What say y'all?

I posted (in another thread) from the bleachers Saturday night that the logo on the helmet was hard to see from just ten rows up. It looks better in the photo you've posted, but with all the "stuff" on the modern helmet (i.e., vent holes, chin strap extensions, etc.) the surface is VERY crowded and the logo looks as if it had to be made small to fit into the space given.

I think we should go with a much larger W&M logo on the left side (where the flow of the logo actually fits) and then put player numbers on the right side.

While I totally agree with your analysis of the helmet logo (too wavy/flourishy) that problem isn't going away anytime soon, so maybe just a white outline around the green letters would make it easier to see? The lighting at Bucknell was similarly mediocre to that at Zable/Cary, so it's not going to get any easier to see the logo when we play night games at home.

Then again, with the giant ampersand it will still look like a pile of spaghetti noodles, only outlined in white.

IMO, the helmet is where our logo looks the best. The larger and more multi-colored the logo is, the worse it looks, so this is best it will ever look.

I don't like the font. Especially since the names are in a different font.

New logo thread hidden in football season thread...

Helmet version terribly small and nearly invisible amongst the various vent-holes. Decals are probably not going to work if bigger on current helmets that the team uses. I think next year, the type of helmet has to be changed/limited to allow a larger logo.

I don't particularly care for the new uniforms. I think the helmet logo needs to be bigger (or something) and I don't like the "TRIBE" across the front or the mismatching fonts. But if we beat Tech in these threads they'll become an instant classic.
