I'm assuming you're referring to Stevens' op-ed piece in the NY Times about repealing the 2nd Amendment. He doesn't have a twitter account that I'm aware of. He is 98 so chances are he required some help to write his op-ed piece. But even as of 2 years ago, he seemed physically and mentally alert and was quite active (he was at the World Series in 2016, presided over a Harvard mock trial and was at Scalia's funeral). It's possible he's not doing as well these days as I haven't seen recent images of him, but I suspect he's doing better than you might imagine.

He has a king position in that seated position, therefore he holds the power and everyone has to stand - just like everyone has to stand in the presence of a king.'
