Future TV deals and how tech companies will impact college fb
Conference re-alignment will come - shaped by tech, not TV

Good read.

Conferences will not be that important when it comes to future TV deals, tech companies already have more cash then the big tv netwoks, they will be more interested in working out individual deals and since tech companies can track every single viewer, some cities (tv markets) will be less attractive in the future... in fact, only viewers (users, subscribers) will count.

IMO tech companies could save college football actually (in the long run, it could be a mess in the short run): Amazon, Netflix, Apple, Google/YouTube, and Facebook will be interested in dealing with most programs individually and every school will finally know its true value. Schools could be interested in re-aligning more geographically in the future...
