I have no qualms with the 4 seed because we stole a bid. Looking at the bracket, I would prefer to be the 4 seed in the Coastal regional than the ECU regional, but I don't think the ECU regional is that bad a draw and it will be more intense

So obviously a lot of if's and some luck, but let's dream a bit.

If Auburn save Casey Mize for game #2, and we go with lefty Sean Mellen (Auburn has a pretty large platoon split and does worse vs. lefties) we can upset them like we did in March.

But it's baseball. Baseball is pretty random in small samples. Let's just win. Maybe we do face Mize in game 1. Let's do it!

Since NU has been getting slammed all day by naysayers about the at-large bid, did you know the CAA went 8-5 vs. the SEC?

NU 3-4 (2-2 vs. Missouri, 1-2 vs. Auburn)

CofC 4-0 (3-0 vs. Georgia, 1-0 vs. South Carolina)

JMU 1-1 vs. Tennessee

Only 3 of those games were played at a CAA venue. Georgia at CofC.

I love seeing the power five schools crying, especially SEC.

Realistically, if CofC doesnt get swept at Hofstra, you probably get the at-large bid over us.

Also, I look at your boards, you need to quit complaining about the tournament attendance. Seriously, no one is watching, the games weren’t on TV.

Most of the games are played mid-week in the daytime.
