Melvin Levett has organized a team of former Bearcats to compete in The Tournament for a $2 million dollar prize. They will be playing in Columbus July 20-22 if they qualify. They currently sit in 2nd place on the Midwest region.

Team includes: Cash, Ellis, Vaughn, Bishop, Williamson, DeBerry

Coaches include: Andre Tate, Bostic, Hicks

There has always been a pretty great representation from former Bearcats. I believe Satterfield and Dermarr have their team coming up again too.

Game time has been set for 2:00 on July 21 vs Texas Tech’s team of alumni, televised on ESPN. A win sets up a potential matchup with 1 seed Ohio St, who won the region last year.

They are also raffling off Mel’s shooting shirt and the plaque he received for his 10 3pt effort against EKU.
