Tough region end of the road for Hurricane softball
Good season for the girls. Another solid year for the program that seems set up for a break through year anytime. Perhaps one that won't involve going through Norman.

Hell of a career for our seniors. Watson left her mark can't wait to see who tries to fill those shoes. Good leaders this year and we have a lot coming back next year.

Here is to a healthy off season of gains and improvement. Congrats to a good team who represented the university well.

Despite the loss it was really a good finish for a team that struggled more than was expected throughout parts of the season.

I wonder how pitchikng looks for next season. There seemed to be quite a drop off after Watson. Although Pochop did have some good moments.

Watson was only solid the first two seasons as well. That was more a reflection of who was in front of her. Hope the same is true next year.

I know pitching depth can be tough to develop in college softball but I would like to see us develop a second pitcher with better experience next season. I think it hurts us in the regionals. Being able to have an experienced second pitcher give us a win and off time for the ace would really set us up nicely and mean we have someone to step in for relief if the pitch counts start to cause fatigue in the ace.
