IDK, but I ******* love it. I think it stems from the shock when this "know your place boy" mentality that some fans have against FAU (and many of the newer programs in CUSA) is turned upside-down. They have to find anything, no matter how far-fetched or minuscule, in hopes to maintain the status quo.

trust, fau knocked the **** out of my school, twice, and the final scores weren't even indicative about the game. they were far better than my school.

i can admit a beating and a better fb team, while also questioning a lying university

Maybe you should concentrate of what media must do - report facts. It is perfectly reasonable to expose someone for doing something badly or deceptively. But it is a rather different thing after this someone has apologized and corrected the story, especially since his job is to report the number, not provide a short lived hardly-relevant gotcha titillation.

so what's the offical number that has been submitted to the department of education so that the reporter can write a new story on it? anyone can apologize, we all do when caught in a lie

In this case, the media reported the FACTS. They reported that the numbers FAU submitted to the NCAA were false, and THEY REALLY WERE. In fact, since FAU still hasn't re-submitted corrected numbers to the NCAA, they are STILL WRONG.

to me, it's a stalemate that says fau knowingly lied about their title ix, then tried to submit "new" numbers to a reporter, but why would he trust those numbers v fau supporters that blame a reporter for reporting numbers that he knew were wrong, but that were published by fau....

my mind wont change, fau fans minds won't change...people will always believe what they want to believe. i believe fau lied about their numbers, proof based upon the numbers they submitted, v fau fans that say that fau gave new title ix numbers to the reporter but he didn't use those as he should. since they acknowledged their lie and apologized.
