Is there talk of putting a bowl game into this stadium?

Revive the Poinsettia?

UW-Whitewater Construction Plans

I was trying to find university of Milwaukee on any plans since their budget is now balance, but found something on Whitewater.

They have plans for an indoor turf field house which looks like football indoor practice. I am wondering if some of the large D3 Wisconsin public school going to move up to D2? Wisconsin-Whitewater is a powerhouse in football at D3 and could actually challenge the powerful D2 Minnesota schools. If Whitewater could get the money to build? Maybe Milwaukee could grow including adding a football team.

I'd say bring the Holiday Bowl, but I imagine they'd move to Petco Park potentially.

Maybe they can bring in the San Diego Fleet.

Madison will stop any other school in the UW system that tries to play scholarship football.

The problem is not allowing other schools have scholarship actually driving new students away. Having Milwaukee, Green Bay and a couple of large D3 schools have scholarships for football could help from the bleeding of young kids leaving the state to go to school to other states.

The subject of UW system football schools has been discussed at length in re-alignment threads.

Isn't this thread about stadium construction?

It is started as Whitewater's plans which talked about if Milwaukee could get the go ahead of upgrading their facilities.

Yes, the info on Whitewater is fine. It's the bolded part that has been discussed at length in re-alignment threads.

There are some people on here that are interested in the D3 Wisconsin schools and I was musing if they are going move to D2. It was not really about realignment. Just wondering doing upgrading facilities helps them get noticed.

Ohio is finally adding ribbon boards to its FB stadium and BB arena. One in the football stadium will be 100 Ft wide in the North Endzone

No graphic available but there is an RFQ out with a date of 10/19 for completion.

Forgive me for not know but is that (red) a track and if so, will that stay or be moved.
That said (curiosity and minor point), have been very impressed with App St, the support and atmosphere.

It's kind of a burnt orange. But it's going to be removed/moved.

I'd be surprised if the Holiday Bowl is not permanently played at the new SDSU stadium. I can't believe Petco's sight lines will be very good for football.
