That time of the season to start to get things lined up. Attalla has spot 66, I got 67 & 68 (MarathonBlazer's old spot) Blazerjay got his spots but did swap w/ someone but forgot what spots he now has. BlazerDawg got his 69 but from what they said 70-72 haven't reupped & she's tried to contact them several times. If someone is interested be it by themselves or as a split with others - try for 70-72. We need to keep our block of 66-71/72 & 101-106 together for us. We need at least 2 spots side by side for actual canopy/tailgating setup but parking for the rest. Map seems to be same as last yrs but actual painting of lines can be different from experience.

They were different every week.......LOL

I didnt renew #69 , not sure where you got your info. Im getting one of BlazerJay's batch.

I renewed mine when I renewed my tickets, I think it was #102

Maybe that's what blazerjay swapped when they mentioned he swapped w/ someone

Where is/are tailgating going to be, when UAB Football begins play at New Uptown Stadium? What type of parking/tailgating is going to be available, then?

No one here is going to know that. I'm guessing no one knows that yet at all with regards to tailgating.

In addition to all the existing BJCC area parking, there will be one and possibly two new parking decks built adjacent to the stadium. The second being dependent upon the construction of the proposed new hotel just east of the stadium site.

FYI, I got 103-105 (BlazrDawg is taking one of those). I did not renew 106.

My travel schedule is going to be too intense to commit to anything beyond a donation to the Athletic Department and a subscription to the online feed.

Ok so did anyone pick up 69? If blazerjay didn't nor who had it originally. The girl at the desk said it was original person who had it last yr when I got 68 last week but she also mentioned blazerjay swapping, I assumed it was 69 she was talking about the swap on.

Tailgating using prepared foods will probably be allowed in new parking decks, but there will probably be a ban on open fire grilling. Has anyone had experience with open fire cooking in other parking decks at other venues? Perhaps there will be open area parking near the new stadium similar to what we are used to outside Legion Field?
