USM ends up with a 8 run 2nd inning and lead 10-1.

Do we? Because 19/27 is a higher percentage than 21/30. Does the percentage just not matter since we have 2 more wins than them? Or does their tie game factor in?

These dang rainouts throw a kink into it. Winning percentage should trump games behind I would think. With that being said I guess FAU locks up the 2 seed? And how does the tie calculate percentage point wise?

FAU just tweeted their seed will be determined by the outcome of La Tech game today

And USM just won the award for strangest double play of the year. Marshall has bases loaded with 1 out. USM throws a wild pitch but the ball bounced hard off the backstop and the catcher grabs it and gets runner sliding home out. The runner on 1st went past 2nd too far and the catcher throws down to 2nd to double him off. Thank goodness as Marshall has made it a 10-8 game after 7

Would I rather have two really tough teams on our side (FAU and LT) or the toughest (USM)? Having to face Sandlin scares me, but if somehow we got by him, I'd like our chances.
