In a new contract, it was an alternative to playing them every other year in Oxford. UC still gets its share of Nippert home games without traveling to Oxford as often.

I think you are mistaken in saying UC still gets its share of Nippert home games. The new contract covered 13 games: 5@UC, 5@MU and 3@PBS. In addition, Miami acts as host (fwiw) for 2 of the 3 PBS games.

So 8 games im Cincinnati and 3 on Oxford. Uc is getting its share at nippert. What does act as host mean? First pick at jerseys?

I would guess it means they get the lion's share of the gate receipts.

Color me skeptical of this interpretation.

I would assume it means Mike Brown gets the lion's share of the money.

Under the old deal, 50% of the games were at Nippert. This deal takes down UC's games at Nippert share to 38.5%. Seems like a smaller share at Nippert to me, but people will interpret it how they wish I suppose.

I dont think it is Nippert vs. Yager argument as it is a Cincinnati vs. Oxford.

I wonder if Miami will still have FBS football or whatever they call I-A when that contract is finished? 13 years is a long time

It's awesome that Fox 19 is picking up the Miami game, but I would imagine that may effect the attendance for that game if it's on local TV. PBS may look like an Elder-St X game.

Last time it was in PBS there were over 40k. I believe at worst we were on espn3 for that game. I expect another near 40k crowd.

FC Cincinnati playing a friendly against Crystal Palace again?

UC - MIAMI half of that number would be more realistic. Beautiful day - maybe a few more. Bad weather and on Fox19 - 15k is about the limit.

Gotta love FC fans. One decent finish in 3 years and they think they are soccer elites.

UC / Cryami has drawn very well in Cincy. 40k plus was the number last time. Half the number would not be realistic for this game outside of oxford. 30k + is realistic.

The OP explicitly said "Nippert" home games (see bold), but as noted: interpret it as you wish I'm fine with the agreement.
