Former Rocket commit’s Mom won two cars and a trip to Madagascar (she likes to move it) on Price is Right. Total haul: $41,000 or about two weeks pay for Patrick.

At the time the inside scoop was that Stan's lack of administrative support and expiring contract contributed to Beverly wavering on his UT commit. He took a weird path, going to Arkansas, leaving school early but not initially making the NBA, heading overseas or something and then working his way back to the NBA and developing into a solid player.
