Coming from a Vaquero that's pretty hilarious.
I'm just getting you prepared for what's going to happen.

I think GCU's recruiting classes have always been decent but in no way shape or form going to get them to Top 25 Gonzaga like status that Majerle is always blathering about. Like I said in the past, since Majerle took over and since Royce Woolridge was the first savior transfer that was going to make them get over the hump supposedly, they have done well getting 20 plus wins by playing pansies all at home on their OCC schedule in front of the Havocs and loading up with pretty decent players. However, they have not broke through like even Bakersfield did winning a WAC regular season and tourney title and getting to the final four in the NIT, the only other real post season tourney that means anything. Unlike GCU, Utah Valley has even won games in those buy in tourneys. So far, ZERO post season wins other than the WAC tourney. I love our GCU guys on this site, no disrespect. I'm just not buying in just yet on what I have seen up to this point with Majerle at the helm. I think this coming year another 3rd or 4th place finish is in GCUs future for the upcoming year, especially if NMSU snags those two top 10 juco forwards adding on to an already pretty solid team coming back.
Dancing, my buddy, I think you missed the point of my post. It wasn't about pistol's fetish...

Good if we can get him. We need a slasher to the basket. We didn’t have a true one last year and this guy slashes similar to Mullings, but can hit a 3. Air Canada 2.0?

Lofton was about as pure a slasher as you can ever hope for. That being said, I like this kid a lot.
With regards to Henry's game, Henry is long, strong, and fairly athletic. I think Jans see the potential for him to be an even better player. Last season, Jans changed Lofton from a volume scoring into a efficient one. Henry has a broad skill set, he just needs a good coach to refine his game and instill even more confidence.

Lofton had all around game, he could do anything he wanted because he was that much better than everyone else. If you watch a Loftin highlight video it will show his offense all over the place because he is well rounded. If somehow he goes to the NBA I doubt he’ll slash as much because his opponents will be at the same level as him or better.
If you watch a Mullings highlight video 80% of it is slashing. Mullings would sacrifice his body to get closer to the rim because that wa his offense. Mullings and Henry use it for the majority of their offense. The difference is Henry can shoot the 3 a little better. That’s what I meant by a true slasher. I should have worded it different on my first post.

Let me prepare you my friend. We just signed the #10 ranked junior college player in the country, Ivan Aurrecoechea and I hate to tell you but the #6 ranked player is also about to sign with us. We also have some solid transfer players eligible this year and our two starting guards and returners that played lots of minutes back so not sure what you are smoking down there along the Rio Grande but whatever turns you on my friend.
Getting 6'8 240-lbs Ivan Aurrecoechea now gives NMSU a center who can compliment 6'7 230-lbs Eli Chuha in the low post. NMSU also has 6'7 225-lbs CJ Bobbitt; who was a two year starter at Denver coming off redshirt. Add in 6'8 205-lbs Mohamed Thiam (hopefully) and now NMSU has four solid front court scorers. And I haven't even mentioned 6'7 220-lbs Johnny McCants and 6'9 238-lbs Robert Brown.
In the back court, we still return 5'9 AJ Harris, 6'2 Sidy Ndir, 6'0 Shunn Buchanan, and 6'1 Keyon Jones. And, we add 6'2 JoJo Zamora, 6'4 Jabari Rice, and 6'4 Addison Wallace. And, we still might land 6'5 JUCO Clayton Henry.
With just Aurrecoechea, NMSU is know one of the favorites in the WAC. If we add Thiam and Henry, we should be the favorite in the WAC.
Congrats. Looks like the Aggies got a good one. Looking forward to watching the battles between the Spaniard and the Italian.

Aurrecoechea and Lever appear to have similar low post moves around the basket. The only real difference in their respective offensive games is Lever possess NBA range with his perimeter shooting. Aurrecoechea is strictly a low post scorer who appears to be ambidextrous with right and left hand shot releases. Aurrecoechea's main strength is his rebounding. Lever still needs some work in that area.

NMSU is loaded from top to bottom so not sure what you are talking about. We had two big time transfers sit out last season and we just added the #1 JUCO Center in the nation. NMSU is still close to signing 6'8 Wing Forward Mahamed Thiam who has NBA skills. NMSU is going to win another WAC Championship.

NBA skills often toil at the JUCO level for 2 years just for the heck of it. Tell em, Frank..

Never said you all were a "bad" team actually you all have a very solid team. Just not anywhere near as intimidating as your previous teams. Hence the reason why I think you all will get upset in the wac tourney.

NMSU just signed the #6 and #10 rated JUCO recruits. NMSU is going to be scary good.

Actually, last season's team was not considered "intimidating" around this time last season. It wasn't until WAC fans saw how scary good Zach Lofton could be that NMSU was considered intimidating. Also, consider in prior years, NMSU had physically imposing big men... Sim Bhullar, Chili Nephawe, Pascal Siakam. WAC fans thought they were intimidating. However, keep in mind, at no time since NMSU joined the WAC has the Aggies been so dominant defensively and on the boards as they were last season. So, maybe you might want to look past just the Aggie players and look at our coach now. He is the real Intimidator. He will have this Aggie team almost literally wearing the other teams jersey with his man-to-man defense.
NMSU had a big time 3*** recruit on campus on Monday. He will decide over NMSU and Florida Gulf Coast on Monday. NMSU could also add another shooting guard in San Jose State transfer Terrill Brown who is the #39 rated JUCO recruit for 2018. He averaged 16 PPG while shooting 50% from the field and 47% from 3. NMSU just loading up right now.
