BA Regional Projections 5/2/18
https://www.baseballamerica.com/stories/...f-64-5218/

Oxford Regional
1 (4) Ole Miss
2 USM
3 TROY
4 Jackson State

CONWAY Regional
1 (14) COASTAL
2 Conneticut
3 Missouri
4 UNC Greensboro

USA drops out and is not in the next 8 out. Still a lot could happen between now and end of the conference tournament. Could be a one bid league, or a four bid league.

I'd say right now we have 5 teams you can't rule out just yet. 2 with legitimate shots, 1 with an outside shot, and 2 that probably aren't mathematically eliminated just yet even if their chances are slim to none.

Coastal should be in just by winning half of their remaining games.
Troy can likely drop 2-3 more games and make it, but probably no more than that. They do have some nice RPI building games left though so they do control their own destiny.
USA reeeaaallly hurt themselves dropping a home series to A-State. They will have to be near perfect down the stretch.
If Louisiana and Little Rock go undefeated they could put themselves on the bubble still, which may or may not be enough.

Louisiana doesn't need to win out. But they do need to win the series against Coastal this weekend to get in the conversation. They already have 31 games against the RPI Top 100 and that will carry great weight with the committee.

If their RPI gets in the top 50 with that SOS, it'll be hard to keep them out.
