SBC Mid-Week Baseball - 5/1 - 5/2
Surprisingly few mid-week games this week. Maybe it's finals week for some schools?

Tuesday
Jacksonville State @ Troy
Grambling @ ULM

UTA @ Dallas Baptist
Texas State @ Texas

Wednesday
North Carolina A&T @ App State
Savannah State @ Georgia State

We take a 4 run lead over the Longhorns into the B 9th. All we need are 3 outs to beat the horns in Austin. We walk the first 2 batters. Next batter drives in a run. Bobcats by 3. . . . Walk the 4th batter to load the bases with no one out, then give up a walk off grand slam to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory . . . 11-10 TX Final.

I've seen us choke some games away in Austin through the years but that one takes the cake.

This year's team may be our most frustrating I've watched in my 13 seasons.

To lose that game, your pitching staff typically needs to help the other team out. Yours did. Sorry about that.
