RE: Towson baseball
NU completes the sweep of Towson, winning 2-1 for their 8th straight victory.

The 47 runs scored in the 3-game series set a school record and equals the run total in a 4-game series (swept NYIT in 2017).
Freshman Ian Fair extended his program best 21-game hitting streak. He’s only played in 2 games where he didn’t get a hit.
Jr. Charlie McConnel stole 5 bases and tied the single-season SB record of 29.
Brian Rodríguez got the start in place of Sean Mellen who was held out with a back issue. Kyle Murphy got the win in relief and Andrew Misiaszek picked up his 7th save.
NU hosts UMass-Lowell on Tuesday.

RE: Towson baseball
I watched the last few innings of Sunday's game. Was worried when we didn't score with bases loaded no outs in the 7th, but Misiaszek shut the Tigers down.
Looking pretty good, the games against W&M and Townson have dropped our RPI but we are still in good shape overall. We are in a good spot in CAA play, hoping to hold off Charleston for the regular season title!

The RPI slide was a result of Creighton losing 2 of 3 at home vs. a bad Georgetown team. It pushed Creighton out of the RPI 1-50 (#54 RPI now).
So NU now has a just 3 wins vs the Top 50 instead of 5 wins. CU plays Seton Hall this weekend, so they could get back into the Top 50.
