Congrats. Not exactly a popular pick with the Detroit faithful but they need to get over thinking that only poopy5 players are worth a draft pick. So much talent out there and regular folks like me are not the best at evaluating it.

A testament to Troy's coaching staff over the last two years to not have any draft picks.

NFL.com had App's offensive lineman listed as a round 4-5 guy. Surprised he didn't go yet.

Congrats to @AppState_FB's Colby Gossett, who has been picked by the Minnesota Vikings! He's the first #FunBelt offensive guard ever taken in the #NFLDraft:

Not sure if this is true but Apps Twitter just said this is the first ever offensive guard drafted from a sun belt school. Fact checkers?

Congratulations to Colby! Not bad for a guy barely rated two stars by the experts!

Interesting to see that Marcus Davenport only had two offers, UNLV and UTSA. Where was Texas State?

In the 2nd round, PJ Hall out of Sam Houston State was drafted at #57 overall by the Oakland Raiders. Hall played his high school football at Seguin High School in Seguin, Texas. This guy was a four time first team All-conference defensive lineman in the Southland, freshman of the year in 2014 and defensive player of the year in 2016. He blocked 14 kicks in college.

In his pro day workout, he ran a 4.7 forty and had a vertical leap of 38", despite being 6"1" and weighing 308 pounds. He also benched pressed 225 pounds 36 times. Where was Texas State? If we had Davenport and Hall on our defensive line the past three seasons, we could have had a decent defense.

ULM - Jeff Blackshear - 1993
App - Daniel Kilgore - 2011

Now, do they mean as the SBC stands now? As in ever in the history of the SBC (various teams) or none of the teams currently ever did, even before they were in the SBC?

I'll keep checking based on any team, current, ever. If it means Any team ever in the history of the SBC, I'm not going into all of that.

Anyone else that feels up to it:

We had a nice streak of players getting drafted. Now on a streak going the other way.

We had 3 who signed as FAs. Rolland-Jones (Cleveland), Dee Liner and Blake Mack (Kansas City). None drafted. A disturbing trend we'd like to break, for sure.

He signed with Cincy, not Cleveland.

We had 3 more get camp invites:

LB Kyle Wilson - Philly
OL Jaypee Philbert - KC
WR Chris Murray- TB
