Just as good of a place to ask it as any ....
I recall that they announced the expansion of the soccer field or the naming of it to BBVA Compass, etc. around the same time as something else that they were trying to cover up. (but I can't recall exactly what they were trying to cover up)
Were they trying to divert attention away from the football fiasco?
I think we all believe that it is good for soccer.

To answer your question. Yes it was announced around that time. But we have the team back and a new soccer field.
