"Louisiana" acceptance has starting to sink in! but he is correct about the fall, which is why we have a new coach this year. now as far as this ranking, its a way too early preseason guess from a orlando newspaper. just have to let the games play out.

I am just an ignorant person from Virginia who simply wrote out how it was in the article. I didn't realize there was a debate about the name. "Louisana" didn't make me think of a flagship program in the state, but I did have to google it to make sure it was the same thing as Louisana Lafayette or Monroe or whatever it is. After looking into it, I still wasn't sure, so I just put what the article listed. I always thought LSU was the big school of the state. Not sure if this helps or not.

"Louisiana" is the chosen athletic branding of the University of Louisiana Lafayette, many Cajun fans take it further calling their school "UL", which is innacurate.

Personally, I prefer ULL and ULM. Maybe because they could easily be converted into "LaLa" and "LaMo"
