Great new logo, but not so good on the helmet. I prefer the helmets you guys have been using over this one.

I would've used a more exotic font for the U and M and not something so generic. But it's still a pretty good concept.

The logo reminds me of my first college football game I ever attended which was a game between Missouri and Northeast Louisiana. I want to say I remember your QB was Raymond Philyaw and you had a running back with the last name Fields.

I love it! And I love how it’s kind of a throwback for the fans y’all lost after the mascot change. Big things coming for ULM hopefully.

I am not a fan of the ULM logo on the helmet. If you want consistency then you stick with the Warhawk profile as it's been since 2005. I don't mind the ULM-style logo for other things...I like it a lot...but for the helmet? No.

Sportswriter Adam Hunsucker said he believes both logos will be used on the helmet. I can live with that.

I really don't think we're phasing out the Warhawk head logo, but do think it will be an alternative helmet vs the new one. It, along with the new P-40 helmet design. I really like the new logo and definitely the color scheme of the unis. I was an NLU grad so I understand the concept. I think we definitely needed the ULM more visible somewhere and it will definitely stand out. Really like the promo video. Great event this weekend with Doug Pederson as well.

I have to disagree, the helmet and uniforms compliment each other, if you put Warhawks on the jersey, and leave the head it becomes a branding issue Warhawks who. Plus the design of the helmet to me is classic, needs color though that’s why I would put a gold chrome facemask.It would complement the uniform.

That’s true Tom. I think there may be talk of having the ULM in one side and the hawk head on the other. Not positive though.

I think it looks great.
But I'm not sure it was the right move.
ULM did a very good job with branding after the decision was made to go with Warhawks. The logo was slick.
Now you're going to another logo and for what? To appease those who were against the name change. Hell, that was 20 years ago. Changing the logo isn't going to bring those folks back.

I'm voting no. Not because it doesn't look good. I just think you're starting over and I don't think it was necessary.
