Seems abusive but much like getting the multi-millionaires of today to pay-back to those upon who they climbed and are now suffering, it would be a challenge to pry money commensurate to the risk, even if it is a risk by choice.

But selfishly, glad that Swanson seems to be at least a bit ahead in that regard.

I work for the New Jersey Department of Education. I annually run a teacher recognition program that salutes the outstanding work that teachers do here in NJ. At the luncheon part of the program I was seated at a table with people I didn't really know personally. The women sitting next to me was talking to her boss (a district Supt.) about football. His son was a football player at Bloomsburg State in Pa. The women told her boss that her nephew was the long snapper on the University of Toledo football team. Turned out it was Brad Spelman. She was quite surprised when I told her I attended UT and still closely followed the football team. She said that her nephew had gotten an invitation from one of the pro teams to attend a rookie camp this week. Not sure which team. Not too often that I meet a NJ Rocket or a relative a current team member!

Just hang around the Point Pleasant Boardwalk in July. You'll see some Rocket gear every now and then.

Sounds like you know a little about NJ. We often vacation in Cape May...great place but I don't really remember seeing too many people with Rocket gear. I'll look though.

Some Falcons around too. Villapianos are from the Deal-Oakhurst area I like Spring Lake.

So, apparently there is now an American Flag Football League, where former NFL players compete for $1M. Who knew.

Lance Moore is one of the participants.

I think Hunt was only seen as a steal after he had chance to play, Woodside could be a steal in 5th rd but may be years before he plays and can then be viewed as a steal. Possible he is moving up on some teams radar and draft board, but on prospect lists still listed as late draft/RFA. I hope he gets a chance with the right team and fit, but in terms of success only time will tell.

Doesn’t KC have the former starting RB coming back from injury? If so Akeem didn’t look to see the field much anyway. I suspect he was gone even with the injury. Kareem will still start so just a question of who will be his back up.
