Smith made his name known as a Inquirer writer, starting with covering the 76ers and then as general columnist....which eventually got him fired.

He was the loudest and most obnoxious voice coming out of Philly media. He talked a LOT of trash about the Tampa Bay Area during the Bucs games against the Eagles. It's amazing that he is still on the air.
