I guess navy should be in the pool but just don’t see them wanting that schedule even if offered. I should also add nobody to the pool. In that case a rule change where you could have 3 pods of 5, play a 4-2-2 schedule.

If Kansas and Oklahoma go to the B1G all bets are off. ND likely would be scrambling to get Texas to come east. I can see 2 to 4 additions. Likely WVU TCU Texas and ND. All 4 would add solid Football as well as good Basketball that would make the ACC at or near the very top conference.

I don't think Notre Dame cares even a little about what Texas does. Or anyone else, for that matter. Nor should they.

If Cincy was valuable they would have already been added. I am sure UMASS wants to join the ACC; so hey they should be added too!

ITT: Everybody trying to get excited about what University that doesn't really fit is the least abrasive when being forced in.

If it has to be WVU, it should have academic and fan behavior contingencies built in. The days of Mr. Mtn. Man throwing Duracell D batteries from the stands would have to be over forever in Morgantown.

What I've said before. Get Pods approved (need NCAA committee approval). Three groupings of 5 teams. Play the 4 others every year and rotate through 5 games with the other two pods 2 outta 4 years. The two highest rated teams play in the championship in Charlotte.

Have to go to a 9 game schedule to make it work though. FSU, Clemson, Louisville and GTech might not be too happy but they just play 2 schlubs every year if they want to weaken their overall OOC somewhat.

It's not going to happen.

ND doesn't get to pick. They get 1 vote like everyone else. If ND can justify one school being more advantageous to them, that would be a valid consideration.

GTS is right, again. Think BIG!

I'm against any alignment based on oBE/oACC lines.

I'm against any alignment that puts a school on an island, like Miami in an oBE division.
