I've always felt he was the most iconic non contributor that UAB has ever had. I know that is a strange category. But think of those team pictures from the beginning of last year where they are lined up overlooking the Birmingham skyline. That pic doesn't have the same effect without Thomas anchoring it from the middle.

For the record, Squeaky Johnson is the most iconic player UAB has ever had.

I think you guys missed my meaning of iconic. I'm talking more about visual presentation than production. Smallwood gingerness and height had a look that stands out. Squeaky's dreads and cockiness made him stand out.
