The obvious solution is to ban pencils thereby eliminating the need for sharpeners. I wonder if they were military grade...

I was thinking of a 3 day waiting period on the sharpeners.

It’s amazing how this happens. When I was in school, pregnancy pacts were a thing. We had a group of guys give themselves cigarette burns in the locker room.

These monster gadgets can actually create a weapon by sharpening pencils that can be used to stab someone...or fail a student in an exam. I propose we ban them.

Imagine the terror they'd generate if they sold those in black.
