Which if the trend holds, we can expect him to be the best player in CUSA next year.

Not bad I don't think. Instead of waiting two years to get both Bertain and TSG he gets both now. Both help reshape the 2017 recruiting class. I really like TSG, athlete, fimisher, lefty, decent shot, and only gets better.
Both guys replace Perry, and form a decent backcourt with Scootie at point. Hopefully Hurtado role is him running the offense from the 1 or 3 spot and show Eshan is building something whereas lumping pieces together.

I spoke with Hurtado at a Baron's game. He said he will be playing the 1. Cant wait to see him play. Hopefully TSG will sign after his visit. Looks like a good player with potential.

Where do you see Boyce then?
I think he looks like a really solid player too, and fits some of our needs at this point. He would give coach some lineup flexibility at the very least. I guess we think we are set at PG at this point in time.

Starting three for Boyce, hopefully he breaks Scootie's record.
I think Hurtado and McCoy battle for backup PG.

Jeff Goodman @GoodmanESPN
Arizona has landed grad transfer Justin Coleman, he told ESPN. Point guard began career at Alabama, has been at Samford — and averaged 13.5 points and 6.6 assists this past season.

Never really doubted that was going to happen. I guess that’s what we get for trying to recruit him twice.

Hurtado is a guard???? I thought he was a small forward. The only time Ive seen him play was at the pre-season festivities last year ( the indoor "ehsan on the hardwoods" thingamagig) Never would have figured him as a candidate for Point Guard.

RE: New BB Commit
The game has changed in the past few years. Having a six foot tall point guard on the court used to be the norm for most teams. Nowadays, point guards are taller, bigger. I just seems like when a six foot tall or less point guard is in the game, they look like a little junior high player dribbling around the court among a land of giants. Opposing teams who have taller point guards who can pass or shoot over(above) a shorter point guard presents a problem these days for shorter players. It just doesn't seem to be very wise to recruit or sign a six foot tall or shorter point guard who would have problems being able to shoot the ball from the perimeter against a taller defensive opponent. High school film highlights are intriguing but once a shorter player gets to college level and opponents are much taller, it is not nearly as easy for the shorter players to be capable of getting open shots without being closely contested.
The game has changed. It is almost as if teams are avoiding settling for a two point shot and concentrating more solely on converting threes. Teams have transformed in to the type of teams who play more of a motion type offense, with the ball being passed much more often, without dribbling at all, in order to create open shots from "the perimeters" beyond the three point line. Some teams have given the green light for even all five of their players on the court to shoot the open three, taller players who can pass and shoot over shorter opponents. Also, I have noticed that in college and pro....offensive players have spread so far out on the perimeters that players are having much more opportunity to receive a pass and drive to the basket in a one on one situation for the layup. The shot clock has changed the game. It is all so fast paced, nowadays. There is no such thing as the once strategic "slow down for a possession or two". It has turned into a high flying "strictly fast paced" game.

You just explained some of the reasons HCE considered during recruiting and retention season.
