Exclamation Poor Missouri

Mizzou planning to hire Garrick McGee as an offensive analyst; McGee was HC at UAB from 2012-13, has been OC and/or QB coach at Northwestern, Arkansas, Louisville, and most recently Illinois where he was fired in December.

I got to hand it to him. He keeps getting work...even if it means inventing positions like offensive analyst.

RE: Poor Missouri
A smart head coach or coordinator would bring McGee in, ask him what he would do in certain situations, and then do the exact opposite.

This guy has an amazing talent for always making the worst coaching decisions...so you take advantage of that.

I’m sure you’ve heard him speak? There’s not a chance in hell he performs well in interviews. He knows someone on the Mizzou staff most likely

Perhaps he is good at telling the fan base what it wants to hear. Like "We can win with the players we already have" and "We can win with the facilities we already have". Many UAB fans eagerly ate those lines up -- for a while. Remember, he was not fired at UAB after his 5-19 two season record. He left UAB to go to Louisville at the invitation of their FBHC (do we still send that coach valentines?).
