Scott Cross lands on his feet
Assistant for Jamie Dixon at TCU. Now will recruit against UTA for players in the DFW area. Wonder who will win that battle. If things don't work out for us, I'd take Frost in a second.

This might well be one of those "Law of Unintended Consequenses" deal for UTA. Nothing against the guy they hired, but the entire country is befuddled by this change at UTA!

By taking the TCU job he does not have to move and probably is making more money. He can wait a year or 2 for the "right" job to open up.

RE: Scott Cross lands on his feet
Now that he is on the staff at a power conference school, and a good one at that, I expect that his next move will be to a power conference head coaching job, or something close to it. The AD at Arlington succumbed to the view that the only measure of success is the NCAA tournament, and cut off his nose to spite his face. They should have fired him instead of Cross.
