Lots of interesting details in there. Shouldn't be too hard to name the players.

The NC State player in question is Dennis Smith, Jr. No info on who the alleged coach might be yet.

Silvio De Sousa is the Kansas player as Norlander and Parrish of CBS Sports deduce as:
1-He has a legal guardian in the US as he's Angolan.
2-Nearly everybody believed he was going to Maryland and swerved to Kansas. Under Armour would be the "other shoe company" per the indictment. De Sousa was on a Under Armour club team circuit last summer.

OK, that would mean DeSousa is the second Kansas player mentioned above. That leaves the other KU player mentioned in the indictment, whose mother got "at least $90,000" from adidas and friends.

Rumor is that person never played a second for KU, so "recruit" is a better term.

And (fortunately) so far, no sign that KU was involved in either case. I guess I shouldn't be shocked that corporate recruiters are allegedly throwing cash around to secure favor, for when top people eventually turn pro and can promote their products.
