How important is the president's pants size? Apparently, important enough to warrant more than two minutes of CNN's primetime programming.

At the end of CNN's “OutFront” on Thursday, host Erin Burnett introduced a report by asking “What's going on with President Trump's pants?”

CNN reporter Jeanne Moos then spent the entirety of her segment looking into what she said was the “pressing” question of why Trump's pant legs were so wide.

Moos cited Vanity Fair describing Trump's pants size as “the circumference of a healthy toddler's head” before asking, “Is something happening?”

“Is the president gaining weight, or losing height, or just in need of a tailor?” she asked.

Apparently desperate for answers, Moos turned to one of Trump's books in which he said he wore Brioni suits.

And as if Moos hadn't already demonstrated how pointless this segment was, she went on to compare Trump's pants size to North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un's.

“There’s one guy with a leg up on President Trump,” she said as the camera zoomed in on a photo of Kim with enormous pant legs. “Forget nuclear button size. Look at these babies,” she said.

She added, “Forget the arms race, we're talking a legs race.”

Maybe CNN should fully commit and rebarand itself as “The Onion News Network”.

CNN has lost all credibility and are now just a tabloid.

What do decent people honestly expect of them today?

The only way I'll ever watch CNN again is if the allow the guys from Mystery Science Theater 3000 to overdub on top of it.

Consternation News Network obsessing over all things DJT? Nahhh.

Has anyone ever made a worse career move than Erin Burnett by moving to CNN? She was a respected journalist when she was on Bloomberg and CNBC.

If Freud were here, he might say that CNN is simply projecting their own past issues with their own father as well as their lack of masculinity.

Every report Jeanne Moos has ever done has been tongue in cheek. This compares favorably to the threads on this site speculating Michelle Obama was a transvestite or the ones laughing at Obama's dad jeans.

CNN and “this site” are, indeed, equally serious as a source of non-partisan information. Good point.
