Yeah, I think part of it is weak OOC scheduling (more so in basketball) . .. creates a false narrative as to "how good" you may or may not be . . . then get into conference play and reality sets in.

I just don't get the baseball regression, most of last year's team is back, and you'd think just from a developmental standard they'd be better, but we just don't seem to develop talent well. Maybe Ty's been there too long . . .
