Three transfers? Roberts, Adway and who am I missing?
Maybe Taylor will graduate this Spring and just move on. Good luck to him.

Oh that's right. Thank you. I can't say I'm shocked by any of them transferring though. I wish them all well.

RE: Taylor Adway Transferring
I can't see why Gordon is staying. He had even less playing time than Adway. Could be that having to sit for a year at another DI program is too much to ask since he already sat out a year as a RS.

I did see that Stuckey Mosley had a pretty decent year at James Madison. The team wasn't too good though!

I don't understand this transferring trend. From what I've read on this Message Board and heard elsewhere, this is pretty common. If playing time is an issue, then why sit out a year just to play a little bit more at some other school? These Student Athletes all get full scholarships at a D1 University. I guess we will never figure it out.

Gordon is two yrs behind Taylor. Without looking I’d guess he got as many minutes as Adway got as a freshman and they were more productive. Moreover, he’s already lost a year of his five when he RS’d. At this rate he may be our starting center.

Given social media today, can we think the players know who might be moving, and where? They then know their future.

Didn't Loyola of Chicago have a few transfers? Seems like a lucrative way to go these days.

Hoping Coach K and company have something up their sleeve.

Bigs - please.

I think Gordon could be a better undersized 4 than Adway was an undersized 5. Gordon already plays with pretty good amount of confidence and has improved a ton. could be a good role player moving forward.

mosley scored a lot at james madison although his efficiency was inconsistent and his team sucked.

yeah, loyola was loaded with transfers. 3 active and 1 redshirting.

Didn’t they beat BG a couple years ago? Probably a good move for him.

Ferris State won the Division II national championship. They closed the season with 26 consecutive wins. Their only loss all season was to Michigan State by 8 points. Their final record was 38-1.

I believe Ferris State was an exhibition game for MSU.

Good for Taylor going to a good program where he can play right away (I believe) I do think EDU and Hill were going to significantly reduce his playing time for the Rockets is he had stayed.

I am sure Coach K helped him land there

RE: Taylor Adway Transferring
Hope he knew when he signed to go to FSU that it wasn't Florida State. I don't know as that I understand the move unless he just felt he wasn't good enough to get more minutes at UT behind Knapke, so he opted to go where he can be a starter. I guess the days of working hard to improve to earn the starting position no longer applies. Different strokes....

A little closer to home. Good program. Trendy little town other posters have pointed out, Toledo could learn something from. I wouldn't mind hearing one of these transfers say they're taking their academic skills to....

Good luck to him. If he has only good things to say about his stay here, I'm glad he was a Rocket.
