Save this one for October please.

Honest Question: How many of your wide receivers that played their final seasons in 2014 or later have at least made it to NFL camps?

NOt trying to be a smart-***, just want to know for sure because I doubt it's anything like the stretch where Dexter Jackson, Brian Quick, Tony Washington, and Andrew Peacock all either made it to camps or on NFL rosters.

As of now per ESPN you have the same number of receivers on NFL rosters as we do: 1.

I'm not trying to knock App State as a team...as long as you keep getting backs like Marcus Cox and Jalen Moore and as long as Satterfield is developing and coaching your QBs you'll be more than fine, but sorry, the App receivers corps are just not as scary as they used to be.
In my best Yoda voice... They will be, they will be.

I'm still in shock about how good they are, waiting for realization to kick in.

Knew how good Corey was when App recruited him out of HS. Got to know his Dad Clarence when he played for App and watched Corey grow up since they parked in our lot. Very humble young man and very torn between App and K State on signing day.

I don't blame a kid as talented as he for choosing a P5 program in a pass happy offense offense offense conference.

#OldTakesExposed

Sorry, Eigen. Just thought about this post and our WRs performance so far.

2 games. 472 yards and 5 TDs.

Corey Sutton alone has 242 yards in 2 games.

Helps to have a QB that can make all the throws versus Lamb who had some limitations, but still.

Let's just say no one is missing Ike Lewis.

Stand by what I said. I'm not saying they aren't good receivers, just that they haven't measured up to a lot of the receiver groups App had 2008-2013. Having a good QB really helps, too...

BTW, Phil Steele rated your receiver unit 6th in the conference and Athlon 5th. It's not just me.

The starting three are better than any group App has had. It's become fairly obvious overthe past two games.

When a 6'2" 200 lb. guy that runs a 10.29 100m and torched a Sun Belt team for 5 catches for 186 yards and 2 TDs in 2017 is your FIFTH best receiver, you have an embarrassment of riches at the position. This is the best group in App history, period.

Add in Evans catching out of the backfield...

It's too bad we can't just use 4 offensive lineman and have 4 WRs and 2 RBs on every play
