The other big change is that for the first time that I can remember in a while, all of the games this weekend are inter-division. I'm not sure if that was done intentionally or not, but the result is a lot shorter trips for many teams that will allow them to get home at a decent time.

I think ULM needs a category, surprisingly better than we thought, but still slightly less than mediocre. Lol. We only won 12 games last year and are 14-10 so far this year. Team seems to be getting better as the year goes along under Coach Fed.

Nicholas Fraze, TXST's ace, scratched again this week from his scheduled start tonight vs. Little Rock.

We've announced our #2 guy is pitching game one, #3 guy is pitching game two, and TBD game three. Ugh.

We've got a 5-game week on our hands too with Baylor on Monday and UTSA on Tuesday. Double ugh.

well baylor is doing ok this year but utsa has struggled so you guys might fare better than you think

Weve already faced them twice this year. 1-1 so far.

From looking at the radar, I'm wondering if Troy/Georgia State will even be played today. May turn into a double-header for tomorrow, unless both teams wait for rain and lightning to pass by since Troy has artificial turf.

Ever find out what's going on with Fraze? He didn't look very sharp in his last outing, so I'm inclined to think an injury of some kind (yeah, a real Cpt. Obvious moment), though I've no idea what kind. I suppose illness is also a possibility, though it must be a hellofa bug to be hanging on this long.

Troy is 3-3 in SBC Play with a home series loss to Little Rock. Coastal is 6-0 in league and has played approximately one close league game to this point.

I can't put you with them. I need to see more.

I can agree with that.

Troy has a high RPI with some decent wins, but even I'm still waiting to see if Troy can snag the big wins against Auburn, Alabama, Mississippi State, Coastal Carolina, etc.

No I have no clue. I'm hoping he has the flu or some minor non-throwing arm injury though.

Ty has said a few times in the coastal series and again for this one that they're basically waiting to hear from Fraze himself if he thinks he's able to go. Which has me leaning towards illness. Which is the best option long term as opposed to an injury. That's just a guess on my part though.

Troy is a good team. Top 3 in the league probably.

Our series with ULM we had issues with weather.
Our series @ Georgia State had a game canceled because of weather.
We’re likely not playing App at home tonight and I’m guessing there will be a DH somewhere.
