From Kentucky, you GOTTA go with Bourbon balls ...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bourbon_ball

https://www.google.com/search?q=bourbon+...66&bih=673

Second place from Kentucky ... would be Derby Pie ... freakin' deliciousness ... without the alcohol of course.

03-lmfao that's what everyone thought when the stock went way up only to crash.

The glazed doughnuts are good...but half moon cookies are better

If the criteria is "sweet," each Krispy Kreme glaze doughnut has 2 pounds of sugar in it.

The NCSU dairy also makes ice cream. It's good because it doesn't have any preservatives. You can only find it on campus and some NCSU sporting events. As much as I want it to be great, it doesn't quite make it there.

The half-moon is a tough call. Chocolate isn't my favorite (in general, it's over done). The cookie would have to be warm from the oven and the frosting melting like glaze.

If you want something that will make you slap your knee, nothing beats an RC and a Moonpie.

I'll take a stab at three NC schools.

Duke --Monuts
NCSU -- as others have mentioned, Howling Cow Ice Cream
WFU -- Sugarcake

For BC, it has to be Dunkin Doughnuts. It seems like there's a Dunkin franchise on every block in Boston.

There is also a variation with a vanilla cookie. Cookie is kinda of a misnomer...the cookie portion is about 3/4" to 1" thick at the center. The consistency is closer to devils food cake than a cookie.

The Moravian Lemon cookies look awesome at Dewey's. Guess I know where I'm going to stock up for the tailgate in November.
