Don't know what you are talking about?? Besides CMU game, Roback had a very nice season. Remember EMU had no running game and we were practically a one dimensional offense. If you also go back to my x factor thread, you can find a link that listed EMU as the number 1 team for dropped passes.

At any rate, let's just see where the draft plays out. I believe Roback gets drafted and it would be great for EMU!!!!

And Roback played hurt most of the season.

I love his ability to throw the fade as well as his arm strength.

Just like Creighton had ZERO chance of taking us to a bowl game. Wickersham’s predictions are always good for a laugh.

Those CMU and WMU prospects aren't too highly rated (I'm looking at Mel Kiper's master list on the ESPN Insider site). Mostly mid-rounders, late or FAs. I'm not sure any MAC players go in round 1 or 2. I see round 3 as possible for Okorafor.

I think Woodside gets drafted very late. Roback???? Morris - FA invite.

EMU's future will be the DEs, Harris and Crosby. The EMU well isn't dry.

As a footnote: I'm not a big fan of that Freep article. They 'aggregated' the opinions of some dubious scouting sources. I stay with Kiper, McShay, Mayock, etc.

Those guys are the 'gold standard' for NFL scouting.

BTW, the top 3 MAC QBs are: Woodside, Roback and Morris (in that order).

What those stats show me: Rebuilding OL + injuries = decreased stats. (mostly increased number of INTs).

Roback's weakness was always interceptions.

Last season his stats would have been much better if the receivers had played better. Bailey wasn't making big plays like the year before, Porter was dropping lots of balls and Kilby was in JC.

Football as much as any sport is dependent on the supporting cast which means that simplying looking at stats or even 'watching tape' can be deceiving.

I have read good things about CMU's TE Conklin. Former basketball player with real upside.

The reputation of a "program" is earned by the number of draft picks, not undrafted FA's, who are basically just training camp fodder. EMU desperately needs someone to get drafted to keep up with the Jones's.

Under their current head coach, CMU is not a threat to win the MAC.

That is an opinion. But is EMU a threat to win the MAC?...

I just read that Roback ran a 5.03 40. Perspective: Philip Rivers who is slow as molasses ran a 5.08. I thought Roback was more athletic.
