When Marshall takes the Louisville job, the Shockers can hire a real Hall of Fame coach who will rebuild their program the right way. Tubby is waiting

As a UCF fan, I will NEVER disrespect an opponent or assume victory or look down on any opponent. I might needle the hell out of USF but I also respect the hell out of them.

If you have seen even 5 minutes of a Wichita State game in any of the previous seasons under Marshall you would immediately note the supreme lack of effort this team had this year. I hope none of the unis sell at the auction this year. This teams lack of even caring has left a bad taste in my mouth.

You're wasting your breath. The stench of jealousy oozing out of these mid-major basketball program fan's mouths will overpower any rational comment you attempt to make. You just have to sit quietly and let them get it all out of their systems.

It’s painfully obvious that some on here are oblivious to what Shocker fans constitute as a good team. This is one of the more gifted teams in the Marshall era, if not the most, yet I think the 08-09 team would win in a head to head match up. They just plain have no grit.

I don't think you'll get much sympathy from most AAC fans given you've had way more success recently than any of them except UConn to some extent. Even Cincinnati hasn't done as much as Wichita this decade. 7 years ago, you had been to exactly one NCAA Tournament in 20 years. So what you had a first round exit, it happens. Just hope it's not the start of a trend.

FWIW, I feel bad for the Shocker players, especially Landry Shamet. I am sure he feels terrible right now.

I "met" Landry at the game last Friday night and spoke to him for a brief minute; he was very gracious and thanked me for my time. (Orlando Magic players don't do that) He is a pretty good bloke. I am sure this was NOT how he envisioned the season to end.

First line is an excuse. You had the entire team back from a 4 loss season with a NCAAT win, and a close loss to Kentucky. Plus the coach who has a far better record, especially in the postseason, than any other in your history.

Then the second line is a full on, angry jab at all your conference mates.

I would love for the Magic to invite Shamet to camp or even take a 2nd round flyer on him in the draft. Let him develop with the Lakeland g league team and tame it from there. He cant be any worse than that garbage elfrid payton was.
