Axeme, I did not know that. Is this equivalent to only 1 team in the NCAA tourney regardless of the record? The MAC gets only 1 honorable mention each year?

I think every conference’s POY is named Hon. Mention All-American, assuming they don’t get named to the regular All-America teams.

I don’t know how long they’ve been doing that, but I first remember it back in ‘06 when DeAndre Haynes was POY.

Aside: Dre Haynes is in the Final Four as an assistant coach at Michigan.
