It wasn't a win. It was an Embarrassment. Like, the whitey-tighties pulled out. Wow. Some picked AZ to win it or to the Final Four -- in fact, Many.

I almost picked Buffalo. Run-and-gun O, vs nation-best D.... I figured Buffalo would fall short. I didn't pick AZ to go too far. But I didn't like the matchup.

People were PISSED at the bar with me (yah, imagine that) pointing it out with the Michigan game going on. Brackets busted!!

Went to sleep at the half. Great news to wake up to.

I tell people that if one looks carefully at the MAC there were 3 very good teams this season:

1). UB was even stronger than most thought,

2). TOL was strong enough to make the NIT.

3). EMU, which to the computers, looks good but not great, is actually a NIT caliber team. EMU is probably a top 100 team now. Much better than the Sagarin's, etc. show. EMU is like a kid who snoozed through his frosh and soph years in high school and then starting pulling mostly "A's" his senior year... Like, "Knew you could do it, son." I watched the CIT game vs. Niagara. It was a highlight show with a total of over 20 dunks and blocked shots (official stats, I was told).

Until EMU lost to TOL in the MAC tourney, I thought EMU had a chance to be a Cinderella and the team no one wanted to play in the first round. EMU probably would have been a #14 seed.

Great game Bulls! I had a feeling about this one. Zona has a history of choking, but Buffalo flat out embarrassed those sun heads! Nicely done!

Congrats Bulls! I see no reason why they can't beat Kentucky, either. Davidson nearly got them. Go make the Sweet 16!

The MAC needs the 'credits' it earns for winning in the NCAAs.

I think the conference gets 'one credit' for each game a team plays. So normally the MAC gets one credit for their one game. This year the MAC plays (at least) two games.

I agree this is a good year to upset KY. I watched their game with Davidson.
