And nothing would make me happier if after you win that game the stadium implodes

Total benefit to AppState:

$1,300,000 payment from SCar
$200,000 discounted profit from selling a total of 5,000 tickets at WB stadium
$500,000 selling an extra 10,000 tickets for standing room only at KB stadium in Boone
$2,000,000 is a pretty conservative gross calculation of income.

In addition, there is profit from increased concession sales, a BIG saving for low travel expenses and then intagibles such as increased YOSEF Club membership levels and increased season ticket sales as only season tickets holders will be able to buy any of the single tickets to the game in Boone.

Masterful plan by DG and Company.

Go! Fight! Win, Apps!

I believe you are overestimating a lot of these numbers.

$50 for 10,000 standing room tickets? Not going to sell all 5,000 of those away tickets. You’ll save a little in travel, but hotels and hotel meals still cost the same.

Comments like these make me realize how unique Appalachian State is. GA tickets for Wake and Miami were $50.

Sold them out for Wake and Miami. What makes you think we wouldn't sell them out for an SEC opponent?

You are missing my point
You will get $900,000 for that first game in Columbia

And in about 3 years “conflicts” with scheduling will occur so they will pay you the $400,000 to get out of the final 2 games

Which is about what we getting next year 1.2 M considering time value of money it’s probably exactly what we get next year

RE: App vs USC series
I see the payout is 1.3 Million, but what is the buyout if USC cancels after App wins at Williams Brice in 2019?

The real question involves the buyout because if they cancel after the first game, the payout for the 2nd game doesn't actually occur.

Chief App and Ark St have two of the most business savvy ADs I’ve seen at the G5 level. App is getting paid well however this shakes out.
