No difference between these 2 conferences and I'd have to say MAC will join us soon. Mountain West might have a slight advantage but at the rate the P5 is trying to separate and pushing down revenue for any G5 school I'd say that's short lived. The only G5 that can claim any separation from the rest of the pack is AAC at this point. They'll be fighting the same battle but with a better financial footing for a while. It should be interesting to see what happens in the next 10 years.

I dont disagree with anything on that ranking of conferences except acc is most def. Over b10 in basketball or football, i think football is 1. SEC, 2. ACC, basketball is 1.ACC 2. B10

Yes, but the B1G is decidedly ahead of the ACC financially. Like $10M/school/year ahead. The SEC and Big Ten are pretty close financially. Both have way more money than they know what to do with.

One day, we will have a nicer stadium than Ladd. I think that would be sooner than later, if the city wants to keep the NFL happy about the Senior Bowl. But the facilities that the players use everyday is very nice. We are building a covered practice facility.

Yes good stuff happening at USA and all of the Belt schools really. This is an arms race after-all.

Tallest midget really? CUSA is our rival conference so before you can compete with a petite conference like the American you have to beat your rival midget like CUSA.

It wasn't meant to be insulting.... Our two conferences are repeatedly ranked as the 2 worst (although Western Michigan skews that for the past few years) in FBS. That said, I don't think it's coincidental that the belt is getting more respect since Georgia Southern and Appalachian State joined. Let's win some games!

Don't hurt your arm patting yourself on the back too much. Is it possible the entire league is getting better? Is it possible that App has had better results due to scheduling, i.e., State? Is it possible that the investments the schools are making in facilities working? Is it possible the media situations is much improved and making a contribution, etc, etc.,

Nope, all GS and App State.

Not overly up/down on any of this. I like our 10 on the ABC/ESPN family better than their 10 on CBSSN. I like the 15 available on Stadium (though not strongly if Facebook ends up really being the only access point for 7 of those). I like ESPN+ over CUSA TV because it costs less, has standardized production values and costs $6 a month less for more content.

CUSA probably had a better football and basketball season this year. But, they can't really argue, even after a nominally better season, that there's any separation between the Belt and CUSA anymore.

And if you win, imagine what respect you will earn for beating Appalachian State! Troy got ranked for it. 04-cheers
