"Greatest" in terms of number of points, it's the largest I can remember since I've been an EMU fan.
"Greatest" in terms of excitement and meaningfulness, DEFINITELY since I've been an EMU fan. Unless I'm forgetting something.

If anyone else uses Roku, it's on the Sports Live app, that can be found in the link provided by Frank under "Ways to Watch".

Two Trinity coaches parked at side entrance until closer to boarding time. 45 seats reserved so far when I asked. Plenty of room for more for an exciting Friday game.

Luckeyone's keys to victory:
A) Stop, stop giving the opponent too many offensive rebounds. Last game Toledo had 14 to our 6 offensive rebounds. If we give the team 8 more offensive shots it's a triple whammy: 1) a 40-50% FG made efficiency equates anywhere from an additional 8-12 points. 2) If the opponent gets an additional 8 possessions that is potentially 240 more seconds (8x 30s) where EMU doesn't get to shoot contributing to our offensive challenge to score. At one time, EMU was in last place in FG attempts and trailed Buffalo by over 100 less shot attempts. Can't score if you don't have the ball. 3) The extra shot attempts forces EMU to play defense longer than most teams which induces unnecessary spent energy and fatigue sets in.
B) Deny the ball to the high post so that the opponent can not pass to unguarded base line cutters or to the wing for uncontested 3 pt shots.
C) Move the ball on offense and don't do unnecessary dribbling. We had a relapse yesterday in the first half of dribbling too much.
D) On offense get the ball to Thompson and let him attack the rim or pass out to a shooter.
E) Minnie must get 20 points and 10 rebounds. Jackson 12 points, 7 assists, Thompson 20 points, 14 rebounds, Bond 4 steals, 8 rebounds, 6 assists.
F) Play with INTENSITY for all forty minutes!!
Go Eagles!!

RE: Game Day: Toledo in CLE
I watched both games with Toledo and the closing minutes of their game last night. In all three cases, they struggled down the stretch.
In our first game, they seemed to think they'd magically pull it together but they just couldn't catch up.
In the second game, they were up 7 with 5 left (I think) and couldn't put us away.
Last night, the way the game was trending, they seemed lucky to get out of there with a win (I really wish Miami tried to push it to OT).
I think it's going to be very important for EMU to get it rolling early.
A steady dose of Thompson in the post early and often like we did in the second game with Toledo would be GREAT to see.

Solid analysis. Still in awe of your call for the press last night as well.

Watching UB/KSU. Buffalo is playing great ball. They will be I'd guess at least an 8 point favorite over EMU/TOL winner tomorrow. They would be dangerous in the NCAAs.

They should get an at large bid if they lose in the finals. Unfortunately, the NCAA needs to save spots for the 7th place B1G and ACC team$.

Steve Buffalo has a collection of thoroughbred players not equaled by anyone in the MAC. Their best player, Massinburg is not having a very good game yet they still look awesome. I agree totally with you, nobody wants to draw them in the NCAA tournament.

Buffalo keeping Kent at bay. Looks like it'll be UB in the final against us/Toledo.

As a proud conspiracy theorist, I never like to contradict a conspiracy theory. However, when it comes to NCAA bids, they almost exclusively go by RPI rating with some adjustment for trending and other intangibles. Buffalo is ranked 31 and this will get them in regardless. (Typically, the top 35-40 are locks. After the top 40, then you start talking about discretion of the selection committee. Then there are about another 10-15 teams that are automatic bids that many have very low rips)
If you look at the RPI rankings, most of the top 100 are from the 7 power conferences, some from the high mid major conferences (MWC, A10, MVC, West Coast), and some from the rest (MAC or worse).

If UB wins the tourney, TOL gets the NIT bid I'd assume.
