Hope he had stopped for just a flag tire. He is a winner and one of the very best play callers in the game. Believe he really took got a raw deal over the escort calling stuff but was lucky with the NCAA. He is ready to return to coaching. It won't happen but wish we had the balls to hire him back. Most guys that travel around the country has called an escort service at some time out of curiosity and I suspect that happened to Hugh. Under no circumstances do I look forward to seeing State going up against against him.

He's a fine, christian man. All the hookers say so.

I never knew if he was calling the escorts all for him or for his assistant coaches, players or recruits. I remember the first time I heard him speak before the season started and he had a canned speech about family or respect of something. And then he gave the exact same speech when he was introduced at Ole Miss. Word for word. I think he is a good recruiter and coach, but he's also a liar and a hypocrite.

Freeze can coach. He made me nervous because I figured he was one of those guys who considered the rules to be suggestions.
One of two AState assistants who I thought was going places when I met them. The other was Mike Tomlin.

Hope he gets things straightened out but I am not a big fan of him returning to AState.

Maybe Neal Brown is starting an escort service for all the right reasons and setting up shop at the top of Four Seasons.

It's interesting either way.

Coaches meet with each other in the off-season to exchange ideas all the time. Even the elite ones do.

Example: Nick Saban and Lane Kiffin met with Tom Herman in the 2016 off-season to learn to use that no-huddle spread they ran that year.

And one of the guys that came to Paul Johnson to learn how he ran his offense was none other than Urban Meyer.

Hugh Freeze has said he would like to work at either Troy or MTSU
