N/M, I found the site: http://drexeldragons.com/sports/2017/10/...ships.aspx

Section 3 and the padded seats in the front row are reserved. The rest is general admission. But I think they may be reserving sections 2 and 4 behind the benches for fans of the teams playing in that particular game.

Thanks. Will the home team always sit furthest from the fan’s main entrance? Just want to position our seats appropriately. Unless it’s a Rhode Island football game (where literally nobody cares), I’ve found its best to not sit in the middle of the other team’s fans.

The home and away sides are the same for the tournament as they normally are for Drexel Women's Basketball. So JMU fans will be sitting in Sections 1 and 2 on Thursday and maybe Friday.

Here's an interesting highlight from today. Northeastern's team bus got stuck in the snow and the entire team got out and pushed it free. They posted the video.

It even made it onto NBC Nightly News.

Our court looks ridiculous in an effort to cover up everything to make it neutral. Does anyone think we changed the court design this year as a way to host the tournament? I do not recall this type of effort in the past to cover up all logos.

Drexel up 31-20 at half over UNCW. We had a bad 2nd quarter after leading 20-4 after 1

Drexel wins 71-41 and will play NU or Delaware. Denise did a wonderful job and pretty much running the subs out there for the 4th Q to get as much experience as possible. Thankfully most saw some minutes during the season anyhow. Should help keep us fresh through the tournament.

They did the same thing at the tournament at JMU with the midcourt logo covered by a big ugly black rectangle & a white CAA.

I am a little surprised Northeastern lost. They gave us some trouble this year.

I hope for Drexel win tomorrow a 4 OT Elon-JMU game.

JMU and Drexel are two schools with courts that are not easy to cover up the logos. I wouldn't say that it looked ridiculous. It is what it is. I would have liked it better if they had come up with a creative logo to incorporate Philadelphia, like they do with the men's tournament.

RE: 2018 CAA Women's Basketball Tournament
Today's game was fun. Drexel came out strong with a 14-0 lead, but then kept trying to shoot 3's over UNCW's zone that were unsuccessful. Shots stopped falling for most of the remainder of the 1st half. While Drexel had a 20-4 lead after one, UNCW found their offense and Drexel couldn't buy a shot in the 2nd quarter and only led by 11 at halftime.

In the 2nd half, Drexel showed why they are so dangerous and they came after UNCW like a swarm of bees. Seahawks were short handed enough by losing 2 starters to injuries and having played yesterday. Drexel clearly took advantage of that and just wore them defensively. Then Drexel's shots started falling and the rest was history. So this game was classic DD. Defense first and the offense will come as a result of great defense.

Nice crowd for game 1 and by far the largest crowd of the day. Drexel had a nice student crowd who came out for free pizza, but were generally laid back and quiet. As I mentioned in the other post, it's great that they showed up, but they are in no way intimidating. Hopefully the sound of a semi-final game against our arch enemies for a 3:00 game on a Friday afternoon will help energize the students and bring out an even bigger crowed tomorrow. We've got to do something to counter act Delaware's rabid pack of Senior Citizens.

We have crushed Delaware both times, but I expect a much more classic du/us game today. Another blowout would be lovely, but not expecting it. Delaware was slow yesterday so we need to come at them early and often. The other semi should be a dandy. My gut says cheer for Elon with our history against jmu, but my head think Elon is still the best team/team we would have the hardest time defeating

Right now, all I care about is hoping that Drexel can get by a good Delaware team that played some really tough defense yesterday. Yes, Drexel did beat them handily both times this year, but like they say in the financial world, "past performance does not necessarily indicate future results". If Drexel is fortunate enough to make it to the championship game, it's going to be really hard to determine who is the easier matchup for Drexel, since both will be really tough. I'll probably be pulling for Elon, since JMU will be pulling in the larger crowed, including the rather obnoxious Neumann Goretti folks who will be there to root on Smalls.
