2018 CAA Tourament
This is a tournament up for grabs. The higher seeds all winning thus far, but a couple close games and big lead changes.

NU takes on Delaware. I'm a little afraid of this Delware team, they have some good players. But if we play like we do we should win.

Currently, the game is at the under 12min tv timeout. NU up 21-14. We good EFFICIENT on offense so far. This is honestly the best I've seen us play on offense in a while. I know only 9 minutes in, but it's a good sign. Could be a 10+ point game if we had made some open 3 pointers.

Well, the last 11 minutes of the game weren't exactly smooth, but we have a 5 point lead going into half time. Not a ton of fouls, and it was a pretty quick half.

Nice job Bourisquot with a big 1st half

Luckily, Max is having a good game.

Sorry I’m late to the game but I’m down in Charleston for the tournament.

Totally shut down Daly and Allen. That’s how you beat Delaware.

One of the best defensive efforts this season. We all nearly blew a gasket at the refs for the one sided calls! Just brutal!

We win and move on.

How can you still be around after losing your coach, Bryce, etc?

It seemed like they needed some time to come together this season. It's really impressive given what they've lost.

Talley putting up 37 last night didn't hurt. And Cacok is a monster.

Beyond that, I think C.B. McGrath's work this season was under-appreciated, even by some of our own fans at times. He coached his a$$ off last night.

Also, we got a favorable matchup. Three things are certain in this life: Death, taxes, and Joe Mihalich inevitably botching things up.

Mihalich is a teriffic recruiter, but may well be the CAA's worst in-game coach.

Be thankful every day that you guys have Coen.

I don’t know about the “thankful” part but he’s done a great job this year, no doubt.

Should be a fun matchup tonight!

Certainly compared to Mihalich, at least! Mihalich makes Coen look like Coach K.

Good luck! Should be fun.

RE: 2018 CAA Tourament
I have had one problem with Bill.....he has always played his best players like rented mules and when the tourney came around they were tired and we had no bench. Joel Smith and Jonathan Lee were perfect examples. I expected to see a lot of them as freshmen but they never played. When I asked people close to the team they said that the two of them looked great in practice but Janning and Allen were better. So Janning and Allen played 38 minutes a game and Lee and Smith each averaged one point a game for the year. After that wasted year Smith finished as our 16th all time scorer and Lee was 24th. After being FORCED to play our three freshmen last year we are finally deep this year.
I think Bill does most everything else well. He's I good x and o guy, puts an emphasis on defense, seems able to find hidden gems and is a terrific representative for our program.

Down a couple points early. Can't complain too much on offense, we are getting wide open looks constantly. We keep it up and we will start scoring in bunches when the shots fall.

RE: 2018 CAA Tourament
Up 36-27 at half but wish it was more. UNCW is going to come with a big run in the 2nd. Good news is offense is efficient, execution is lacking. We hit our open threes and this is a a larger lead.

Great defense so far.
