No. The SEC will invite Tulane, but the Green Wave will decline.

We could bring in Kanas for a in-state rivalry with WSU. TCU will have to comeback, and would bring the metroplex rivalry with SMU. Baylor can go to Conference USA where they belong (Baylor would been in CUSA all along before they weasels their way into the Big 12 stealing UH spot). Not sure if Kansas State and Iowa State would be good adds? And Tech can go with Baylor to CUSA, because they just dont bring anything.

We will blackball them. 05-mafia

History has shown that Tulane doesn't want to be a part of the SEC, you are probably right.

RE: When the AAC Dissolves...
I'm sure the new AAC contract would give us more money than the Big East so very doubtful teams would move. However if the Big 12 dissolves I'm not sure their payout would be more than the AACs either.

Football indy doesn't work for anyone not named ND or Army. And even ND had to develop a scheduling agreement with the ACC IIRC.

Yup. Nothing trolling about placing Temple in the NEC and WSU in the Horizon League. Nothing at all.

I just don't see the PAC taking Tech with Texas. Tech is a rural school, and might not meet the education levels that the PAC would want. Would not be a great fit culturally

Just a really trashy troll job.

BC#1 must have ingested some parasites while he was drinking from the streams on his spiritual journey. I warned him about bringing along a LifeStraw. He mumbled something about not being bothered with the purification of the flesh, only the soul. Well now he has an upset tummy and he's taking it out on the rest of the community.

RE: When the AAC Dissolves...
This is a great discussion and I want to take a second and thank those that have contributed.

Now, regarding indy football...

I think we COULD make it. Lets say for sake of argument the following AAC teams end up indy in football:

UCONN
UC
ECU
USF
Temple
Navy

now, add to this
UMASS, BYU and Army

each team has 8 other Indy teams to schedule loose agreements with and then its just about filling in the rest of the schedule like we do now.

So we don't get $2mil//team/year...ooooohhh, huge loss.

And winning the AAC in football means zero in regards to getting a good bowl or playoff spot. You can accomplish the SAME THING as an indy.

I'm more of a Wilco fan than a Sun Belt fan but I'd be okay being in their conference. Drown is a great song.
