My dad and I went to go watch us play Baylor and upon arriving we found out the game was cancelled due to "field conditions". Yet the field was good enough for them to have a scrimmage. It wasn't even raining. I asked one of the Baylor fans why the game was cancelled and he joked that "The weather is too nice. We prefer 35 degrees."

Geez, tough break for South. Get edged out by Indiana and Auburn.

No kidding. We gave up a walk-off grand slam to lose to ranked Indiana and a 3-run shot in the 8th to lose to ranked Auburn. We were a couple feet short of having a tie game. Our 2nd basemen hit a double that bounced off the wall that scored 2 in the B8, we only needed 3. I would have loved our chances in extra innings against them.

At least our guys have seen a little of everything so far. Will not get much easier this weekend as we are on the road for a 4 game series against Texas Tech. I hope we can at least get a split with them.

We will be a tough midweek team for anyone this year. Our offense is good enough to score a lot of runs against most mid-week pitchers. If our starting pitching can get their act together, I really think this team can be special.

Indiana isn't bad. Don't hang your heads on that one.

One of our pitchers had his glove stolen by a Western fan, but their PD arrested him and is in the process of returning the glove.

Our weekend home series vs Marshall has already been changed. No game Friday, DH on Sunday.

Well that sux. I can't imagine that Baylor was afraid of little ol' us. . . ..

On the other hand, at least we didn't lose . . .
