NU split a doubleheader with Mizzou in Ft. Myers.

NU had a great comeback win 10-8 in Game 1, but got thrashed in Game 2 20-1.

The Huskies were down 7-4 in the 8th but rallied to tie it at 7-7. But Mizzou scored a run in bottom of the 8th to lead 8-7.

NU was down to its final strike in the 9th when rallied to tie it at 8-8 and Charlie McConnell ripped a 2-run double to put NU ahead for good 10-8.

Game 4 is this morning at 11:00am. Soph. LHP Sean Mellen takes the mound.

Charlie McConnell went 3-for-4 with a double and 3 steals and Soph. Sean Mellen went 7 innings allowing 1 run on 6 hits to beat Mizzou 4-2.

Ryan Solomon had a big 2-run HR and Andrew Misaiszek got a big save.

Great start by NU getting 4 wins against Creighton and Missouri.

RE: Missouri
Huskies play at undefeated 13-0 Auburn this weekend. Hoping we can make some noise down there. I don't know much about the baseball team but it looks like we're on a nice winning streak right now, though the teams we beat last weekend in Florida don't have good records.
