We wind up in a 3 way tie for 4th ?

Marshall -10-5 --vs. Cha; @ UaB; @ MTSU

UTSA - 9-6 -- vs. LTech; @ UNT; @ Rice

UaB - 8-7 -- @MTSU; vs. Marsha; vs. WukU

Suppose all 3 wind up at 11-7

We'd have split with Marsha, and lost to UTSA.

Marsha - spilt with us and lost to UTSA.

UTSA 1-0 versus both. Is this the deciding factor ?

Yes it is. To get the 4, we need to win out and have UTSA and Marshall lose two. In this scenario, we’d be 1 game up on UTSA. Also, with a Marshall split, the nod would go to us as we would have beaten the conference champ. But, we must win three very challenging games first.

In short, losing to the Texas teams at home did to us what Pitino did to the future wife of one of his assistants in that Italian joint.

Thanks. I was hoping that wasn't the case, but it is still doable.

Marshall will have beaten Middle as well. The next tie breaker would go down to WKU who we would have a win over and they wouldn't.

Correct! My FN bad. I predict we will finish 5th but would rather be 6th.
